Trenton Armory, Downtown Trenton

Trenton Armory, Downtown Trenton
I do not remember the inside of this large building and do
not think I was ever in it. I do remember "Trenton" painted
on its roof and it burning down in the summer of 1975.

I think this is where we went to register for the draft in 1965. Still remember my number, a very unlucky #24. My buddy and I were talking over this the other day and he said he never opened his. When it came in the mail he just tossed it and went.

HI MAC....ONE OF THE OUTSTANDING BUILDINGS IN THE CITY. IT WAS USED BY THE NATIONAL GUARDS AND MANY SPORTING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. AT CHRISTMAS TIME, KIDS WOULD BE FURNISHED TOYS AND GIFTS THAT WERE DONATED BY THE PUBLIC. A DOMINATE PLACE IN DOWNTOWN TRENTON FOR A VERY LONG TIME. REGARDS.

Mack: Many a great wrestling match held there, my Dad and I went all the time. It was also my draft spot to report to.
