Our Ammiversary
This blog began on November 27th 2008. Monday we shall start
posting for our 4th year. I would like to thank everyone who
has contriubuted to this effort. We can still use funds by
the way if you like what we do here.. check/money order in
my name 79 Wilson Avenue, Mercerville NJ 08619. Many blogs
that do politics and just post opinions on stuff are funded
by readers , we go out and get pictures and go thru old
newspapers as research to bring back the old Burg. If you
like the arts and have the money think about helping.
OK PBS beg-athon over LOL. Now back to the blog. I would
like to thank especially RALPH LUCARELLA, JOE ZUBA, SKIP,
TOM PASSARELLA,and JOE BATISTA for their contributions to
our effort...and TOM GLOVER whose blog inspired this one.
I remember the days in 2008 reading and enjoying Tom
Glovers blog about Hamilton Townsip which includes many
Trenton items. I then looked for one about Trenton and
found all the Trenton blogs tended to focus on other
parts of town and not the Burg area where I grew up.
My recollections are best about the 1970s and 1980s and
1990s but WOW my readers helped fill in the earlier
decades. Its fun to walk down memory lane with all of
you and thats where we will stay..no politics..no
current Trenton..just the old days. God Bless The Old
Burg:)

CONGRADULATIONS MAC...A JOB WELL DONE AND ALONG WITH TOM GLOVER YOU HAVE BOTH RECALLED THOSE YEARS THAT WE SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER . I'LL BE 93 YE4ARS OLD IN AUGUST AND IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY WHEN I READ ABOUT THOSE HAPPY MEMORIES. BEST WISHES AND REGARDS.
