HI MAC.....THAT'S THE SPOT WHERE WE PLAYED
MARBLES WHILE WE WERE GOING TO HAMILTON SCHOOL
ACROSS THE STREET. THE PARK THEATRE WAS THE
BIGGEST BARGIN IN THE CITY BACK THEN. FOR 10
CENTS YOU WOULD SEE A SERIAL, COMEDY, NEWS
EVENTS AND FEATURE PICTURE AND ALSO RECEIVE
A PIECE OF DINNERWARE FREE. IT MADE THE DAYS
OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION SEEM A LOT EASIER.
REGARDS.

Hi Ralph:)
Thanks:)
Thats a nice memory. I will add it to the post:)
I believe I have a set of dishes my grandmother, mother, aunt and a cousin collected from there. The four would go every week to get a piece. At one point there was a place setting for twelve. We lived on Anderson St. so I am 99% sure that is where they got them, unless there was another theater that also gave away dishes. I will try to add a picture.
