UPDATE
SJBill adds...
There was Sunset Motors on South Broad Street near
Pat's Diner. This place was owned by Paul Gessmeyer.
He later went on to build and own "The Ranch House"
at Harney's Corner in Lawrence. Paul was close
friends of my parents back in the late forties
and early fifties.

Mack: Ate many times at the Ranch House, good burger baskets and fries as I remember.
Chico's Harley Davidson or City Tire were both on Broad.
I guess the Ranch House is now where the Blockbuster is? Across from the old body shop?
