There are many familiar names on this list.

I'm pretty sure that Johnny Buffin of Genesee St. later became the Major of the New Jersey State Police in the late 50s or early 60s while living at the address. The Buffins were very close friends of the family.

His next door neighbor was Geoge Papp, and that family moved out to Ewing in the mid-60s.

Joe Persico lived up the block from us on S. Clinton. He was a next-door neighbor of Ralph Lucarella's sister Marge Bodnar. Before being a cabbie, he was a pretty good boxer, IIRC. Joe's daughter Joyce was a reporter for the Trentonian.

SJBill, was that James Patrick McKeever on the TPD later?

Hi SJ & Skip:)
This is just what I was hoping to hear. We strive here to be a place where you get insider stuff about the people and places of the Burg
along with general things about the area. You folks often help me with that with your comments on the posts (some of which become posts themselves if long enough).
It was our little part of the world, God Bless The Old Burg:)
