A Well Known Burg Crossroads

A Well Known Burg Crossroads
Where Beatty Street Meets Whittaker Avenue and Whittaker
Avenue Meets Cummings Avenue and Morris Avenue.
Campi's Store was here in my Burg day.
I might have gone in Campi's when I was collecting for
my Morris Avenue Trentonian Paper Route in the middle
1970s or later on when I passed it by on the way to
friends houses.

THe big buikdign on the right was Jon and Jake Heil's restaurant and bar. Get yourself a shot of Rock 'n' Rye and a beer for 50 cents!

For entertainment pf the kids, fill up your empty Coke bottle with water fromthe tap and set pins for 10 cents a line.

I think Heil's served a decent 10 cent hotdog if you were a pin boy.

Hey Bill: Speaking of pin boys, I did it for 2 cents a game for Carabelli when he owned the alleys at Brown's Mills. Everyone in the old Burg should remember them. They had the beverage business and were very active in many other affairs.
