The Casino Pier, Seaside Heights NJ

The Casino Pier, Seaside Heights NJ
A warm summer thought on a december day here in the
Burg area. So many folks from around here would go
to Seaside Heights it was called Trenton by the Sea.
We even took a few class trips here:)

Great pic. I can feel the hot sand and the hot sun and hear the ocean. Life just goes too fast.

Hi Cathy:)
Thank You.
I remember a few of the attractions' names in my day..

The Jet Star (Roller Caoster)
The Rotor
The Spider
The Swiss-Bob

Lucky Leos on the boardwalk had
a big room with a bunch of bowling
type games. I forget what the
game was called.

If we were not at Seaside we might
be at Metedeconk which was also
very popular with Trenton area
folks.

Hi Mack: When I was about 14 years old they put me in jail in Seaside for putting on my swim trunks in the car. Most people did that in stead of renting a locker in those days. On that particular day, half the guys from the Burg were caught. My mother was worried that I would miss taking final exams in school. My brother Lou was friendly with Jim Tallon who was an accoutant on Hamiton Ave. Jim was some kind of offical in Seaside and managed to get me out. I think there was a fine for dressing in the car, but during the depression, most people did.
