A&P Supermarkets.
There was an A&P Supermarket on Beatty Street in the
Burg and one in Broad Street Park or Franklin Park on
South Broad Street as I recall.
This picture is of a generic A&P and not any local store
but its sign is the same as I remember:)

Hi Mack. There was an A&P on South Broad Street near Park Avenue in Broad Street Park. The building later became a discount food store that had a "T" in its name as I recall. Until recently the building was an R&S Strauss Auto Parts store. The building is currently vacant.

store was gone..I went there
quite a few times over the years:)
