Mack: I'd like to comment about the beautiful churches we have in the city of Trenton area, of every dedomination. I'm more aware of it as I traveled throughout our country during my retirement. You expect that in Europe, especially in Italy.It seems that great pain and carefull planning were used in their construction. I believe the old timers were very concerned about their religous beliefs.
sacred heart has been by family church for generations...me, mom, grandmom, and great grandparents.
being slovak, my g-grands went to st pete and paul too. they came to the usa around 1910. so, my family has attended sacred heart almost 100 yrs!!!
i am having difficulty with my family history research finding the exact date my g-grands got here.
i am still in awe of the extraordinary craftmanship and artistry when i am in the church.
in a word...WOW!!!
