Once upon a time this was DeGeorge's Eldorado.
This is a new picture taken a few days ago:)

If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Hi Mack: Now you've touched upon another close friend of mine, the DeGeorge's. They lived on Columbus Ave. for many years. The boys were Pat, Richard, Londie and Junior along with their sister Jessie. Pat's father worked nights, so we had the use of their brand new 1936 Olsmobile. Richard and Pat were just about the only guys working in those days(the depression years). After many years working at N.J. Jersey Floor Covering, Pat and the family bought the Eldorado on Franklin St.Pat and his mother worked in the kitchen and the others worked at the bar. They all did a very good job. Regards, Ralph
Once again Ralph, I'm so pleased to hear these words you are speaking about my family......My mother is Rita DeGeorge and Uncle is Robert DeGeorge......if you know the DeGeorge's that well then I'm sure you would remember them! My mom tells me stories of when she worked banquets for the family and she dropped a whole tray of glasses......boy did my great-grandmother scream at her....and all in Italian!!! LOL
