701 Whittaker Avenue, The Burg
Once upon a time this was Chianti's back in my Burg
Day. This is a new picture of this taken a few days
ago:)

This was called "Heil's Cafe and
Recreation Center" owner
Jacob J Heil
in my 1950s book.
in the 60s it became
Anthony's Bar & Grill.
It was Chianti's in my Burg Day:)

Hi Guys: You both are right, being in the bowling business, we knew Jake Heil. If I remember correctly the bowling alleys were down stairs. When we opened the Hamilton Bowling Lanes, most of their leagues switched over to our place. That was in the late 50s. Regards, Ralph

As I recall, there where only about 6 lanes with pin boys. Gezzz can u imagine having that job. Someone was always trying to hit them. Ah, the good old days.supermansupermany1144
