Ralph Lucarella in The Navy in World War Two

Ralph Lucarella Jr said:

Hi Mack-This is Ralph Lucarella Jr. I've been helping my Dad
reply to you on the computer and I saw where you inquired about
his service in WW2. We do have some very old photos of him in
the South Pacific and I thought you might get a kick out of seeing
them. I've included one very recent pic of my Dad at the Air and
Space Museum in Washington DC pointing out the island of Esperidos
Santos on a Map Display of the Pacific Campaign in WW2. My Dad
used to mail home Coconuts to my Mom from there and a navy
baseball glove to my Uncle Chuck.

UPDATE: The picture of Ralph pointing out where he fought in
the War won't print for some reason, but the others are great:)

HI RALPH JR. AND MACK:

MAY I HAVE BOTH OF YOUR PERMISSION TO POST ONE OF MY "GREATEST GENERATION" WWII PHOTOS OF RALPH SR. ON MY WEBSITE? I TRY TO INCLUDE AS MANY VETERANS FROM WWII AS POSSIBLE. RALPH SR. WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION. IF YOU GRANT ME PERMISSION, PLEASE SUPPLY ONLY THIS INFO:
RANK,OUTFIT HE SERVED WITH, HOMETOWN (I ASSUME THE BURG BUT WOULD LIKE TO VERIFY).
I HAVE THE GREATEST LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THESE GUYS WHO GAVE THEIR ALL.
