Hi Mack:This was a great neighborhood. The chief of police O'Rourke lived in back on Columbus Ave. Larry Laurenti had a store on the corner. He later owned 5 Shoprite super markets. His nephew was Jeff Laurenti who was a big shot in the United Nations. Also in the neighborhood was Villa Park Dairy on Columbus Ave. We also had Wetzel Field and St.Francis Hospital.
