HI MAC...I GOT TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME AT ST. FRANCIS, ESPECIALLY WHILE MY BROTHER "CHUCK" WAS INTERNING THERE. I USED TO GET HIM PIZZAS ON MANY OCCASIONS WHILE HE WAS ON DUTY IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. BEST REGARDS.
I was born there Dec '42........daughter born in '72......parents died there.......Good and sad memories.....Thanks for the image....haven't seen it since '89.......
Hi Ralph & Gramma:)
After I had Tonsils out in 1967 at St Francis, the next time I had to stay overnight in a hospital was 2007 for Gall Bladder (over at RJW Hamilton).
I am working on my second 40 year pause between overnight hospital stays LOL :)
I sort of remember a place that we could get a bite to eat that was within walking distance to the hospital.....ate there a few times...Had a great hoagie I believe. That would have been 1989.......Does anyone remember the name?
