I'VE SEEN THAT PARK GO THROUGH MANY CHANGES SINCE THE SCHOOL FOR DEAF WAS LOCATED THERE, WE CALLED IT THE DEAFIES THEN AND IT SINCE HAS BECOME A LANDMARK THAT WILL REMAIN AS ONE OF CHAMBERSBURG'S MAIN ATTRACTIONS. BEST REGARDS.
Hi Ralph:) I think I have the order of its use. It was a home for civil war soldiers children then a school for the deaf, then "Chestnut Park" then "Columbus Park". :))
