HI MAC....WE HAD OUR STORE ON MOTT ST. AT 123 IN THE 1920'S. IT WAS ON THE CORNER OF AN ALLEY CALLED NEW STREET. WE LIVED IN THE REAR AND UP STAIRS, THE CHICCHIO FAMILY WAS ONE OF THE FAMILES I RECALL ON NEW STREET. THE STORE, I UNDERSTAND DID'NT DO WELL, CAUSE EVERYONE BOUGHT THINGS O0N THE BOOK. AFTER 2 YEARS MY MOTHER HAD NOTHING BUT A BOOK FULL OF IOUS. AFTER THAT ORDEAL WE MOVED TO BERT AVE. REGARDS
