Was Feinberg's across from the Broad Theater, where the giant tire was out front? I remember sitting in it as a little girl, when mom and I used to walk to Weinbergs.
You are absolutely right Mack. I asked my husband who used to hang out at the "hole in the wall" a few doors away and he remembered it was City Tire. He was at Radices playin' pinball and Bijou shootin' pool, but I spent all of my time at Skelton Library. Good little Catholic girl that I was.

Fineberg was not on that block..but I find a CITY TIRE COMPANY at 909 S Broad nearby ..owned by Abe Black and David Solodar in 1957:)
