The Botal Inn, Chambers Street 1966, The Burg

The Botal Inn, Chambers Street 1966, The Burg
Owners John Bohonyi & Joseph Tallone. The name Botal comes
from the first part of both their last names I assume:)

THAT WAS IN MY OLD NEIGHBORHOOD AND I COULD RECALL WHEN THE LUCCIDI FAMILY BUILT THAT PLACE ON THE CORNER OF CHAMBERS AND ROEBLING. PROBABLY IN THE 30'S. REGARDS

I was on that New Year's Eve gig with Tony "Paris" Parziale. Huck and Lucy were the owners back then.

Hi Ralph & Tom:))))

I find an Anthony Parziale on 219 Columbus Avenue in 1957.
I find a Joe Lucidi on 1115 Revere
Avenue in 1957:)

That was Tony's father. Huck Costner was the name of the owner when I worked there, beginning in 1960, and his wife Lucy was Tony Paris' aunt. Harry Conti, who owned a beauty salon on Ashmore Ave, was the bass player. We were paid $13 per night, 9pm-1:45am, and a free hamburger. What a deal!

What about the original owners, John Bohonyi and Joeseph Tallone? What happened to them?
