In case folks around the nation who read this blog have
not heard, DeLorenzo's Tomato Pies is closing on
January 15, 2012. God Bless the folks who run it in
their well earned retirement years:)

Mack: Never ate at the Hudson St. location but I sure miss the pies on Hamilton Ave.
HI MAC....ONE OF THE LAST REMAINING CHAMBERSBURG ATTRACTIONS IS ABOUT TO BECOME A THING OF THE PAST. THE DeLORENZO'S GO WAY BACK WITH OUR FAMILY TO ALMOST 100 YEARS ON HUDSON STREET AND MOTT STREET. I'M STARTING TO FEEL OLD WHEN I SEE THIS HAPPENING IN THE OLD BURG. REGARDS
I was able to eat there for the first time, last year about this time of the year in late January 2011. When there was a ton of snow on the ground. I'm glad I did! Sorry to see them close.
