I'm a registered Republican because of Carmen Armenti. He was a democrat for years, but wanted to run against Art Holland for mayor, to try and save the city's downward spiral. So he changed parties and became a republican, just as I turned 21 and was able to vote. Wow, as bad as I thought it was then, I never would have conceived that it could get as bad as it is now.
