A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

In the late 50's and early 60's I always listened to Bus cover the Trenton Catholic games on the radio. A great local sportscaster.
HI MAC....I KNEW BUS VERY WELL IN HIS YOUNGER DAYS AND HE WENT ON TO BECOME A GREAT SPORTSCASTER. WE BOTH PLAYED ON THE 1936 SCHROTHS AND DID'NT SEE HIM UNTIL 1948 WHEN HE WAS BROOADCASTING THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME OF THE AMERICAN LEGION WORLD SERIES AT INDIANAPOLIS. HE REALLY GOT EXCITED WHEN MY BROTHER "CHUCK" STOLE HOME FOR THE FIRST RUN AND THEY WENT ON TO WIN. BEST REGARDS.
