Columbus Avenue Under Blue Skies, Villa Park

Columbus Avenue Under Blue Skies, Villa Park
In a more logical world a street named for Christopher
Columbus would have been in the Burg. But it was a
nice street wherever it was located:)

HI MAC...COLUMBUS AVENUE, ANOTHER OF THE STREETS IN VILLA PARK THAT WAS MY CAMPING GROUNDS IN THE EARLY DAYS. MY GOOD FRIEND, LARRY LAURENTI'S FATHER HAD A STORE ON THE CORNER OF ROEBLING AVE. HE TURNED THAT EXPIERNCE INTO OWNING THREE SHOP RITE MARKETS LATTER ON AND BECAME QUITE A WELL KNOWN PERSON.. THE REST OF OUR GANG PLAYED BALL AT WETZEL FIELD AND ROLLER SKATED ON REVERE AVENUE. BEST REGARDS AND GOD BLESS EVERYONE.
