
The Clinton Avenue Railroad Station, East Trenton
When the Roeblings and other local factories began to
need workers from overseas they mostly came here first
along their way to the Burg. This is close enough to
the Burg to carry your bags to whomever is awaiting
your arrival:)

Mac, I guess they each had their ways to go in the city to the different enclaves.
The Irish down Market to the old Saint Johns Church, The Hungarians out toward Lalor and Randall and the Poles toward the potteries toward Top Road.
They were strong, I guess they had to be and saving each penny, the trolley was out of the question.
I remember the tracks but not the trollies. The were gone by 1948.
