Goulds on South Broad was one of two places you could get a part for a Triumph, MG or anything foreign. The other was Betty's off Spruce. Back in the 60's no other places would touch foreign parts.
The Ace Cedar boys also had a lot on Calhoun in "The Little Burg", I got a turbo Corvair from them and is was a great car.

COME ON MAC...YOU LEFT OUT SMOKEY'S GARAGE. HE TOOK CARE OF EVERYONE'S CAR IN THE BURG AND VILLA PARK FOR YEARS. HE HAD AN ANSWER FOR EVERYTHING, NO MATTER WHAT. I GREW UP WITH SMOKEY AND I WANT TO SEE HIM GET HIS DUE CREDIT. HE EVEN INSISTED HE COULD'NT SCORE A 300 AT OUR HAMILTON BOWLING LANES BECAUSE THE LANES HAD TOO MUCH OIL ON THEM. HE NEVER OVERCHARGED ANYONE, HE HAD A BIG HEART. GOD BLESS SMOKEY AND MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
We had Reither Brothers Garage on corner of Spruce and Princeton. Honest with fair prices my Dad and I never had a problem. Wonder if they are still there?
Reither's had a 1955 Corvette on the back lift well into the 1980's and I would occasionally ask him if he would sell it ... "Some day" ... great guy and best in the neighborhood.

Joe, the place still looks the same but I believe they closed shop in about 1990.
Hi Joe Skip & Ralph:))
Ralph this list is from the Trenton City Directory of those days so its likely they might have paid to be listed thus not all places on the list. Thanks for mentioning Smokies:)
