I wish I could remember the history of this building. I think it burned in the 1968 riots and then was rebuilt and was always a real gem. Possibly the most beautiful building in the city and again one of the most expensive. I remember shopping for a new couch and kept badgering Mom about that place "up the hill" since we would "window shop" there sometimes.

I believe the front of the building and even the wrought iron sign were preserved by the State when it became the offices of the computer folks.
