A Summer Afternoon on Mott Street, The Burg

A Summer Afternoon on Mott Street, The Burg
This was taken from the corner of Mott and Chestnut
where DiMucci's Store was. DiMuccis may be in a
bunch of communion and wedding pictures from
Immaculate as its close enough to the main doors
of the church to be in some pictures of church
events:)

HI MAC....GOOD OLD MOTT STREET, WHERE I WAS BORN IN 1919. WE LIVED AT 104 THEN AND LATTER HAD A STORE AT 123. ALL THOSE HOUSES YOU SEE HAD GAS OUTLETS FOR THEIR LIGHTING. THAT GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF HOW OLD THEY ARE. MOTT ST. HAD MANY PEOPLE THAT WERE WELL KNOWN IN CHAMBERSBURG DURING THE EARLY YEARS. BEST REGARDS.
