Earlier this was Mazzilli's and Battisti's market. Battisti left and opened a store at E. State and Johnson avenues.

HI MAC... MAZZILLI AND BATTISTI HAD WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE BEST ITALIAN MARKET IN THE CITY. BATTISTI'S MARKET ON E. STATE AND JOHNSON WAS ALSO OUTSTANDING IN THE BROMLEY SECTION. REGARDS.

Hi JoeB & Ralph:)

A note about a previous post to Joe B.
You were right, The Roma Bank branch on Chambers Street in Franklin Park was never an Old Borough Savings & Loan. I thought they were as I used to get my check cashed there at times , but I must not have had an account with them. Good work Joe:)
