It used to be the Feast was the big excitement in The Burg and it is nice to see the religious origins of these and carrying the Madonna was the hallmark.
Then came "Heritage Days" which was secular and part of the attempt to "heal" the community after the late 1960's issues.
Now I see that Ernie Williams wants to have a Black Heritage day in the park late this August.
I think its good to have God in these things too, agree:)
