Oxford Valley Mall in Pennsylvania (Langhorne)
Oxford Valley Mall in Pennsylvania (Langhorne) was one
of the first of the newer enclosed malls in the area.
This might be a stop when Burg folks were "goin to Pennsy"
back in the day. I always took the less built up back
route here..Morrisville to Big Oak Road (referred to by
me as big joke road for no reason) and that would take
you there. Now Big Oak Road is more built up but back in
the day it was a pleasant ride. This picture is from
1973 at Oxford Valley Mall.

HI MAC AND TOM....BENNY AND SAMMY LIGHT WERE TWO OF THE MANY PEOPLE WHO PROFIDED THEIR PRODUCTS DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION YEARS AND COLLECTED ONLY WHAT YOU COULD AFFORD TO PAY THEM EACH WEEK. ANOTHER WAS OUR MILK MAN, WHO LEFT MILK EVERY DAY WITHOUT GETTING PAID UNTIL THINGS GOT BETTER. LAMPERT DAIRY WERE THE FIRST TO GET PAID WHEN MY FATHER WENT BACK TO WORK. PEOPLE IN CHAMBERSBURG IN THOSE TOUCH YEARS STUCK TOGETHER AND THINGS TURNED OUT FOR THE BEST. I SURE RECALL THE EARLY YEARS IN THE BURG AND VILLA PARK. REGARDS.
