We used to sing 4 part harmony on the picnic table in
the schoolyard. My girlfriend Marlene lived across the
street and we used to spend a lot of summer-time there.

I started kindergarten in Sept 1939 at the old school
and after a couple of months we transfered to the new
Washington School. I assume the old school was torn down
in the very early 40's if not 1940 itself.
