Licciardello's Produce:)

From the Trentonian:

In 1904, Joseph Licciardello came to the United States
from Sicily. His first job was working on the Philadelphia
trolley tracks.Joseph's dream was to own his own business.
His dream soon came true as he opened a small grocery store
on Elmer Street in Trenton. Later, he purchased a store on
Butler Street in Trenton, which he turned into a fish
business. Quickly, a second store next to the fish store
sprang up and Joseph turned it into a produce store. These
two stores would soon merge into one big produce business
at 64 Butler Street. In 1919 Joseph married and soon began a
family. All together he had three sons and a daughter. His
son Domenic born in 1920 served in WW II.After World War
II, Domenic returned home and took over his father's
business in 1955. Over the years, Domenic worked hard.
Licciardellos is well-known for providing fresh fruit,
produce and frozen foods to restaurants and schools.
