Sigismund "Ziggy" Mizerski was born Zygmunt Mizerski on May 13,
1920 in Trenton, NJ to the late Jan and Eugena (Baczyniska)
Mizerski. Ziggy married Elizabeth Petty on July 7, 1945.
He lived most of his life in Trenton then moved in 1984
to Tucson, Arizona. He was a Veteran of WWII in the 503rd
AAF BU. He worked at Switlick Parachute Shop, Panelite and
McGuire AFB. He retired from there at age 49. He also owned
a saloon in Trenton on 1045 South Clinton Avenue in the Burg
with his father. In his retirement he volunteered at VFW
Post 491 and American Legion Post 313.
