A Winter Day At Franklin Park, Franklin Park
This picture is from a few years ago and like now
Franklin Park remains in pretty good shape. I and
my brothers and friends most often walked down
McCabe Alley (The Alley that begins between
Dinger Brothers and Liberty Deli) to throw the
old football or baseball or whiffleball around.
There was a Husky dog along the way that was
very nice looking. If Franklin was full we might
go over to Wetzel but usually our side field was
empty. Our side field was the corner of Remsen
and Franklin Street part of the park:)
