This is the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Chambers Street
in front of the Bank. I note that across the street
there was a pay phone.
I remember when phone booths had red lettering, then
it switched to blue lettering, then they were no longer
booths but just phones with a little casing around them
to protect them from the weather. Now with cell phones
all around, pay phones are quite rare.
Also there was no fence there as there is now for
the parking lot of Saint Francis Hospital.
