Employee Badges Roebling Plant

Employee Badges Roebling Plant
I never realized how many folks worked at the Roebling
Plant in the Burg. They had factory baseball and
basketball teams, factory picnics.Thousands of people.
This was all before my time. It was sold to CFI I
think before I was even born and then was vacant from
the early 1970s onward. But no Roebling Plant, No Burg
so I am very happy it once existed and that Tobacco
Shop owners son who emigrated from Germany gets a nod
from me:)

HI MAC..I GOT TO KNOW SOME OF THE ROEBLING'S VERY WELL. DELIVERING MAIL TO MARY ROEBLING AND MRS. FERDINAND ROEBLING WHILE I WAS WORKING ON WEST STATE STREET. THEY BOTH WERE VERY ACTIVE IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE CITY AND I MIGHT ADD THAT MRS. FERDINAN HAD A CHAUFER FROM THE BURG. REGARDS.

Ferdinand Roebling donated a big amount of food to feed the folks of Italy after the war destroyed its economy for a while:)
