HI MAC...IT'S GREAT TO SEE TONY AGAIN AND MY SCHOOL FOR SIX YEARS. AND THAT'S A NICE SHOT OF THE PARK THEATRE ACROSS THE STREET. ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD I'M SURE HAVE DINNERWARE THEY RECEIVED WITH THEIR 10 CENTS ADMISSION. THE PARK AND THE BIJOE WERE THE ONLY THEATRES WITH THE SCREENS IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. DOWN THE STREET IS BARBERO'S BAKERY ON CONRAD, AND MANY FRIENDS I HAD ON ANDERSON STREET. BEST REGARDS.

Blocking the alley even back then. Drove my Dad nuts!I used to work for Mary. It is funny to see her so young. We moved to Hamilton the day they started knocking down the Hamilton School. I remember playing "Army" in the rubble of bricks.Franky Stilatano hit me in the head with one.

Sorry JoeB, I just don't know. That's the problem looking at very old pics and not having anyone around to ask.
Best regards

I remember a shoemaker next to the Casino, but don't remember the man's name. He spoke only a little English, and his Italian was laconic.

Kids, there was a time when people could afford only two shoes, and these were repaired, not replaced, when worn out.

Imagine that.
