Fall Comes To Cummings Avenue, The Burg

Fall Comes To Cummings Avenue, The Burg
I just love these street scenes. I picture myself walking
in many of them back in my Burg years long ago. Click
this and fill your computer screen with Cummings Avenue
in the Burg:)

Mack,

Just want to say thanks once again for all the work and all the heart you put into this site. You take us back to a happy place, and sometimes after a stressful day, Macks Trucks of Wisdom has a soothing effect that can't be matched.

Thank you, friend.

The red building on the left was my grandmother's. Teresine Rago. The storefront was Umile Frank Rago, my grandfather's shoe repair shop. My grandmother was a seamstress there as well. They raised 9 children. My mother Concetta was the oldest. God Bless them. They made a wonderful life for our family.

What building had the large smoke stack?

Back in the day that was Domestic Laundry. My friend Donald Piccolella's grandfather Salamandria owned it.
