Lamberton Street, South Trenton

Lamberton Street, South Trenton
What I remembered instantly from this picture was that
concrete pillar and chain fence. I have not seen that
in over 30 years. Do you remember this area?

HI MAC....I ALWAYS LOOKED AT LAMBERTSON STREET AS AN AREA NEAR THE WATER THAT WAS'NT SUCH AN ATTRACTIVE PLACE. THE PHOTO ABOVE SHOWS A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER, A PARK LIKE ATMOSPHERE, THE PARK BENCHES, GRASS AND SIDEWALK ALL MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE. REGARDS.

i always liked the river front...still do.

i guess, it's because of the historical significance.

plus, it is a good view

My dad's parents lived on Cliff St. he and I use to walk across Lamberton and I use to swing on the chains. When we went fishing we drove down Lalor and made a left turn and went towards Duck Island. Caught many a fish. Nice picture Mack.
