The Hamilton Sweet Shop Building In The 1980s, Hamilton Avenue,
The Burg.
The corner of Hamilton Avenue and Chambers Street. Across from
Trenton High.
It is called The Hamilton Lucheonette in this picture but looks
essentially like the Hamilton Sweet Shop did. Note Michelle Lorie's
Cheesecakes is also in this picture:)

Mack, off topic here, but I need to stand corrected about the Mack Trucks comments I made a few months back.
It was .. White Trucks .. a competitor of Mack and I think I was confused because they had a sign out with the Mack bulldog for repairs.
Had lunch with my pal who lived across from them on Stout and Princeton Aves.

Back when, the 1960s, this place was operated by two brothers. Their sons, John G and John J Gazonas, cousins with the same name, were friends and classmates.
Anon I have a big write-up
about this when it was the
Hamilton Sweet Shop which includes
a bunch of things about the family
that owned it. Go to the search thingy atop the blog and write in
Hamilton Sweet Shop:)
