A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Hi Mac....Today, you're really showing everyone what Chambersburg was like in the golden years. Starting with the photo of the Feast taken in the year that I was born and the Burg as told by Bobby Vee in 1999. I can relate to his story very well, it was about the time that we had the store on Mott St. in the 20s and sure covered most of the people and events of that time. Best Regards.
Hi Ralph:)
And as you see from the story
the Burg was still our Burg and
could be called a "Little Italy"
even in 1999. The old Burg faded
away in the 2000s. What a great place it was:)
