John Contento was my 4th grade Teacher at Franklin School in
the early 1970s. Born and raised in Trenton, Mr. Contento was
a resident of Lower Bucks County for nearly 50 years. He was a

Rocco Riccio wrote :

I wish to tell you a story of an extraordinary woman. This
fine lady will be remembered to many as an individual who fully
extended herself to newly arriving immigrants in the Trenton
area. She helped hundreds of Italian immigrants who began their
lives in the Trenton area. This fine person was the equivalent
of an ''Italian welcome wagon.'' She helped many new immigrants
learn English and find work. She also helped many Italian families
find suitable housing _ they eventually purchased homes in the
Chambersburg district. This genuine person was Margarita Greco.

My family was one of the many new Italian immigrants fortunate
to have been blessed by this special lady. My family and I are
forever grateful for all her goodness and kindness. I also believe
her goodness and kindness was passed on to the next generation.
Even today members of Margarita Greco's family have the same
passion for helping others, just as she did. I know this to be
true because Margarita's niece is Mercer County Clerk,
Catherine DiCostanzo.

Ahhhhh, Schuster's "Mustard Pie", he had them lined up going out the door for take out many nights. I loved the place but one night he insisted I have the mustard. Though it was just a light coat on the crust ... well I told him it was great.

His day job was at Trenton State and I think his daughter became a nurse.
