A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

It's me again Mack: That's a beautiful shot of Hamilton Ave. I'll always remember Hamilton and Greenwood as avenues of spacious homes of doctors and fraternity houses all the way into the Township and including the grounds of Trenton Central High School.
Hi Ralph:)
Thank You for your comment about
the picture. The Burg posed nice
for this one:)
Part of life in the Burg was
also Hamilton Avenue decorated
at Christmas with that NOEL sign
at Hamilton & Chambers..
And the Columbus Day Parade.
God Bless The Ole Burg:)
Hi Mack,
Once again you captured a piece of real estate that I have ties to. The red brick homes on the corner of Benton and Hamilton are 304 and 306 which is the corner lot. Dr. Carabelli and his family lived at 306, while my family lived at 304 from 1957 through 1967. My father sold the house when we moved for $12,000.
