Ralph Lucarella Talks About Columbus Park

Hi Mack: I want to tell you some things about Columbus Park.
The baseball field was named after a woman who supported the
Chambersburg Little League (Catherine Ford). My dear friend
Tony Fracella was president of the league for years. He used
to sell hot dogs from that building near the diamond.Tony was
also manager of the State Highway team in the Industrial League.
He lived on Elmer St. with his wife Kate, who lived in that
house from the day she was born, 85 years. We all knew
Columbus Park as the Deafies, the school for the deaf was
located there in the past. My sister lived on Division Street
across from the park. I got a kick out of watching people
feed the squirrels.

Thanks Ralph this is great:)
