Kim Yarson Talented Musician From The Burg Has a Song
"Promise Me You'll Remember The Good Times" Which Could
Be The Theme Of This Blog. Please check out my link on
the Blog Roll to Kim Yarson's Website and please go to
youtube to see the GAA Version of her song Promise Me.

Kim is from the Burg and attended McCorriston/St Anthonys
High School as so many folks did in my Burg day.
She took part in the Girls Athletic Association (GAA)
activities back in the day. There was a recent reunion of
the GAA to help raise money for charity. Kim rewrote the
words of her song Promise Me from her first CD for the
event. Here are the words:

Oh when life gets you down
And you’re hurting inside
And you wish you could run far away and hide
Go back in your memory of when all was fine
And promise me, promise you’ll remember the good times

You may lose a close friend
You may fail when you try
And it will rock your whole world when a loved one dies
Just remember them always in your prayers each night
And promise me, promise you’ll remember the good times

When we laughed just to laugh
When we danced all around
With the Gold and the Brown
All the stories of who won each night
Go back to these simple times

Oh, the memories won’t fade
Of how hard we tried
We worked and we sweat to get our dance right
And the friendships we made, were made for life
So promise me, promise you’ll remember the good times

When we laughed just to laugh
When we danced all around
With the Gold and the Brown
All the stories of who won each night
Go back to these simple times

Someday thinking back
If GAA comes to mind
Just put your hand on your heart and cherish this time
The show must go on, and the memories won’t die
So Promise me, promise you’ll remember the good times
Promise Me, promise you’ll remember the good times

BRAVO Kim !!! (clapping)..
