and Tal Brodie (International Israeli Basketball Star &
National Hero) as well as many of us average Burg area and

Hi Mack: We older folk remember the gym as the scene of "Red" Smith's fabulous basketball teams. One of his earliest stars was Meyer Bloom, who went on to play professional ball. I believe his teams hold the record for state championships and of course we all remember the great sports nights that were held there.

Hi Ralph:)
Thanks for info:)))
Mack: I remember being in high school and see Kareem Abdul Jabbar (he was Lew Alcindor then) play Cathedral High one Sunday afternoon. My Dad and I use to go to the Trenton Colonial games held there also. Good memories.
