If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

Happy Thanksgiving to all on the Blog. About that turkey, they finally caught him and it is now in the Pop Corn Zoo.
happy thanksgiving to all!!
my comment for today...
i know this is sacrilige on this blog, but...i don't like italian-style stuffing with sausage, rather salsice. it just doesn't work for me.
Mack,
What exit was the turkey? Happy Thanksgiving. May you have a traditional Burg Dinner.
Start with a Jersey Breakfast with Taylor or Case's Pork Roll or some scrapple.
A tomato pie from DeLorenzo's.
Followed by pastries from Landolfi's.
An eight course dinner from Marsilio's, including bracciole.
For sessert, how about some Neapolitan ice cream, granita, sorbetto, spumoni, tartufo or cassata?
Follow it all with a double restretto espresso, followed by a huge triple sized cannoli.
And then a large glass of grappa, limoncello, amaretto, anisette, or even Fernet Branca to settle the agita.
Thanks again for all this history!
, stuffed with an Anthony's Steak House sandwich,
Looks like Exit 14.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND EARLY NEIGHBORS OF CHAMBERSBURG AND MERCERVILLE AND HAPPY THOUGHTS TO ALL OTHERS THROUGHOUT THE TRENTON AREA.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Thanks to you Mack for a year of this great blog. One down, several to follow! Best wishes to all the followers! Noel
