A Blog about the Chambersburg area of Trenton NJ. The Burg we all loved and miss. If you were from the Burg I hope many of the pictures and lists and comments under them from good folks bring back some nice memories. Villa Park, Franklin Park, South Trenton, and nearby Hamilton also mentioned. Use the search box atop the blog to find schools, churches, streets, stores, bars etc that you remember. Over 4000 posts and 3000 pics. Enjoy:)

hi Mack: I also loved swimming in the pool at Jr. 4 but never could get used to swimming without trunks. When we got out of hand. Mr. Gaston, our gym teacher, would whack us across the butt with his gym stick and we would feel it all day. Junior 4 was great and I enjoyed the 3 years with nice teachers and a lot of friends. Regards
Hi Ralph:)
Same here. .the swimming without
trunks was a dopey rule and I cannot figure out why they made us do that...
But swimming in the Jr4 pool when
it was 96 degrees outside was a
good thing:)
Felt good on a hot summer day.
With or wiyhout trunks, it was great!

When I attended Jr. 4, Mr Studmyer was the gym teacher. I remember freezing my cogloines off on pool days. Now that was something to look forward to!
HEY VINCE; I DON'T THINK THAT WAS THE RIGHT WAY TO SPELL COGLOINES.
