Hi Mack: Happy Labor Day to you and your readers. I really think that you deliberately show these street scenes so that we can guess as to where they're actually located. I'm gonna take a shot and say I think that looks like the corner of Clinton and Hudson. For a guy that's been away from Chambersburg since 1960, I think it's a pretty good guess. Yes that is Clinton and Hudson!!!
In the 1970s there was a place
that made great Hoagies at Clinton
and Hudson.. I think the guy who owned it was connected with Felix's
Deli in Mill Hill near Joe's Mill
Hill Saloon.. Felix's makes outstanding Hoagies:)
The street pictures are some of
my favorite Burg scenes.
Yet all these buildings would
mean nothing without remembering
the People who made the Burg
great..THAT is the thing that
often stirs me when seeing them:)
