Hi Mack: I'd like to tell Tom that I'm one who remembers Mincy
Manczak. Johnny played during my era and was one of the players
that I admired. He was one of a group of players from around St,
Mary's Greek Catholic that played outstanding ball. He and
George(Shorty) Nemchick, Peanuts Vranchik and the Mikarski
brothers were others in that group. Regards, Ralph

Hi Mack. Mincey was known more for his baseball talant. Johnny played on one of the best Schroths teams ever, in 1933. Every one of the players on that team were the best in the city. He also played on Trenton's professional team and many other local teams. He was one of the first to congradulate me when I was chosen to play on the 1936 Schroths team. Regards, Ralph

I remember Mincey being the ref at many a Trenton Catholic basketball game in my time there... 1953-1957 also brings back memories of Joe Logue and Bus Saidt who have left us and of course the Trenton Sports Legend, Harvey Yavener, still with us and still reporting..
