Mack: My grandfather use to go every year to see the procession. At night he took me there, I still remember all the lights, foods and the smells. We walked from Home Ave, no worries.
My husband's grandmother is in this picture and I do believe this was in the 2000s. You could find her walking in the procession every year. She would always walk barefoot as a sacrafice. This is a tradition she carried over from Italy when she used to walk in a procession in her home town of Sant'Antimo.
